Cristina Tătar is Associate professor in the Department of English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Letter, Babeş-Bolyai University in Cluj. She teaches various courses related to linguistics (lexicology, stylistics), the history of the English language, translation theory, and the image of England in literary translations.
